WHAT IS KEFIR PROTEIN?

Biotiful Kefir Protein combines the gut-friendly benefit of Kefir with the high-protein creaminess of Quark. Richer in live cultures and higher in natural protein (at least 17g protein per portion) than conventional yogurt. In fact, there’s more protein in a portion than in a can of tuna! That’s why we’ve decided to call it Kefir Protein. It’s a light and highly nutritious snack with no sugar added.

Great on its own or with toppings – we love adding fresh berries, nuts, dried coconut flakes and almonds. Kefir Protein is delicious at breakfast and our snack pots (available in Original, with Compote, and Topped with Seeds) are great for a post-exercise dairy protein snack, and our Original Kefir Protein is suitable for a ketogenic diet.

WHY IS PROTEIN IMPORTANT?

Protein is an important part of our diet:

1) It’s essential for growth,

2) Helps the body repair itself after injury,

3) Increases muscle mass and strength,

4) Is good for our bones,

5) Reduces appetite and hunger levels,

6) and reduces cravings and desire for snacking, which can be beneficial for weight management.

Milk and Dairy foods, such as cheese, yoghurt and Kefir, are good sources of protein and also contain calcium, which helps keeps bones healthy.

PROTEIN FOODS VS PROTEIN SUPPLEMENTS

Wondering if you should reach for a pricey protein supplement instead of a protein-rich food while working out? Go for the food: the NHS says that we could get the same benefits from introducing high-protein foods to our diets as snacks or adding them to meals to increase how much protein we consume.
