Layering this kiwi smoothie is optional (it’s delicious either way!), but when you’re looking to give yourself an aesthetic treat, impress a guest or take a beautiful photo for Instagram, then take it to the next level by lining the glass with precisely cut kiwi fruit and layering the Kefir and smoothie as though you were a food stylist.

Ingredients

  • 1 kiwi
  • ½ ripe avocado
  • 1 ripe banana
  • ½ cup of blueberries
  • 2 large handfuls spinach
  • 1 small handful kale
  • 250ml Biotiful Kefir Original

Smoothie without layering:

  • Blend all the ingredients together and then enjoy!

Layered version, optional:

  • Slice enough of the kiwi into fine, precise pieces for pressing to the inside of the glass. (The amount of kiwi you need will depend on the size of the glass.)
  • Combine the rest of the kiwi and ingredients into a blender, saving enough Kefir to fill the bottom third of the serving glass.
  • Blend the rest of the ingredients.
  • One the precision cut kiwi has been pressed onto the inside of the glass, gently pour the remaining Kefir to cover the bottom third of the glass, and top off with the smoothie while being careful not to nudge the kiwi fruits!
