Homemade Granola with Kefir is a classic combination

Make homemade granola to enjoy with your Kefir

Homemade Granola and Kefir is a breakfast classic! This recipe for homemade granola is full of natural, wholesome ingredients, and is delicious with any flavour of Biotiful Kefir or Kefir + Protein.

And while store bought granola is always an option, the beauty of making homemade granola yourself is that you can tailor the ingredients to your taste and dietary needs. Perfect if you prefer walnuts to pecans or cacao nibs to dried fruit. The flavour possibilities are endless.

We recommend serving as 30g granola, 250ml of Kefir (any flavour) of 130g of Kefir + Protein and top with 80g fresh fruit to get in one of your 5 a day. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup barley flakes
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp honey or rice syrup

  • This granola can be kept in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 2 weeks.
  • Enjoy with fresh fruit and a generous helping of Kefir or Kefir Protein.
