Nutritious and satisfying frozen dessert

A healthy alternative to traditional desserts

Treat guests (and yourself!) to a healthy dessert that tastes indulgent with these Frozen Kefir + Protein Bites.

They’re packed with protein – in fact, Biotiful Kefir + Protein is richer in live cultures and higher in natural protein than conventional yogurt – and with no sugar added they’re light and highly nutritious.

The kiwi fruits and berries are a great source of fibre, which aids healthy digestion, as well as Vitamin C which supports the normal function of the immune system. Not to mention they contribute toward your 5 a day!

In this recipe we use kiwis and berries, but you can swap out for any fruit of your choice to make a dessert that speaks to your taste buds. For example, this would also taste delicious with sliced peaches, banana or pitted and chopped cherries!

Ingredients

  • Thinly slice the kiwis and then, using a tree shaped cookie cutter or freestyling with a small knife, cut a tree shape from each slice.
  • Line a rimmed baking tray with baking paper.
  • Mix the Kefir Protein and honey, then spoon onto the centre of the tray and spread evenly.
  • Place the kiwi trees and berries onto the Kefir Protein, and gently press to set into the mix.
  • Freeze until completely solid (approx. 4 hours.)
  • Leave out of the freezer for 5 mins before cutting into sections to serve.
