Did you know? One smoothie can count towards your 5 a day, so why not pack in another serving of vegetables with our Green Smoothie Bowl with Kefir? Of course it can be drunk from a glass, but when we can, we find it much more enjoyable to slow things down and enjoy in a bowl topped with berries, seeds, nuts, mint, etc. while catching up on our favourite podcast, TV show, or reading a book. And while we love it for breakfast, it’s also great as a post-workout snack.

Smoothie Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp flax seeds
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1/4 avocado (30g)
  • 2 frozen cubes of spinach (80g)
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango (80g)
  • 250ml Biotiful Kefir Original
  • Protein powder (For added protein, optional)

Toppings (Optional):

  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Fresh berries
  • Seeds
  • Nuts

  1. Add the ingredients to a blender and blend on low until smooth.
  2. Add a dash of almond milk if your blender is struggling and blend on low again.
  3. Scrape down the sides as needed, until the mixture is completely smooth.
  4. For the perfect smoothie bowl you’re looking for a thick silky consistency.
  5. Pour into bowl and top with your favourite toppings (optional)
