Satisfy pumpkin pie cravings while offering a dose of live cultures from the Kefir

Love pumpkin pie? Then have we got a seasonal autumn dessert for you: a tasty bowl of pumpkin, granola, nuts and Biotiful Kefir – nutritious and super easy to make!

Similar recipes call for evaporated milk, but we’ve used Kefir to reduce the overall sugar content with a sophisticated flavour.

Kefir is a cultured milk drink which originates from the Caucasus mountains and has been a trusted staple in local diets for over 2,000 years. It’s made by fermenting Kefir grains – which are essentially a cluster of beneficial bacteria – with warm, fresh milk. Learn more about how Kefir is made.

Biotiful Dairy Kefir contains over 40 strains of gut-friendly cultures, resulting in billions of beneficial bacteria per bottle.

  • 250ml Kefir Original
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 5 crushed ginger biscuits
  • A handful of pecans
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Granola

Mix the cinnamon with the pumpkin puree and then layer up the ingredients – crushed biscuits, pumpkin, Kefir, granola, pecans and honey – twice! Enjoy.
