An exciting and tasty Kefir & Avocado salad dressing

This is the perfect complement to your veggies as a dip or as a dressing on salads with romaine lettuce, onion, tomatoes, and any other vegetable you choose to add to your salads.

Kefir is a fermented food made with live cultures – ours uses over 40! – and while this cultured dairy drink can be enjoyed on its own it’s also great in a number of dishes – such as salad dressing! Our Biotiful Kefir has a smooth texture and subtly tart taste, adding a delicious depth of flavour to a simple salad.

  • 2 cups (473mL) Biotiful Kefir
  • 1 ripe avocado, mashed
  • 1 tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp. chopped chives
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 fresh garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper

Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the flavours to meld. Taste and adjust seasoning.
