The Beetroot & Riazhenka dip is a beautiful vibrant magenta and looks almost too good to eat. Boosted with probiotics from our organic Riazhenka, it will not only stimulate your senses but also rejuvenate you with its wholesome goodness.

Serves 4 – 5 as a snack with crackers, or as part of a mixed meze.


  • 1 quantity boiled beetroot
  • juice of 1/4 lemon
  • 4 tbsp of Bio-tiful Dairy Riazhenka
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 tbsp cumin powder / cumin seeds, toasted and crushed
  • fresh mint leaves


Quarter the warm beetroots and put them in a blender. Add the lemon juice, Riazhenka, extra virgin olive oil, garlic and cumin, then blend to a smooth purée and allow to cool. Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
