Forget Guacamole, this recipe for a Tumeric, Chickpea and Carrot Kefir Dip makes a great side dish for veggies, crackers or just as it is.
- 250ml Bio-tiful Kefir
- 3 carrots, chopped and steamed
- 1 cup chickpeas
- 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp. ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp. ground turmeric
- 1 clove of garlic
- Zest and juice of half a lemon
- 1 tsp. tomato paste
- 2 tbsp. tahini
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- Salt + pepper
- To garnish – a handful of pomegranate seeds & toasted pine nuts
Blitz everything together in a high-powered blender and sprinkle with pomegranate seeds, toasted pine nuts and fresh coriander.
