These Kefir pancakes make for the perfect weekend breakfast. They’re so light and fluffy, we promise you’ll want more than one!


  • 250ml Kefir
  • 7 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs

Gently stir together the Kefir, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Whisk together the eggs and vanilla and then stir into the main mixture slowly.

Pour the batter onto a slightly oiled griddle, a quarter of a cup at a time and then cook until golden brown. Top the pancakes with extra Kefir, fresh fruit and honey.
