I have been drinking Kefir and other cultured milks ever since I can remember as a child. It was particularly vital to me, as I was mildly lactose-intolerant, which Kefir subsequently helped to cure. Later in life, when I was training as an athlete for the Russian figure skating team, Kefir was an essential part of my diet and health regime to help me stay fit and healthy. These drinks pick you up every day, even more so if you have any digestive tract issues or after taking a course of antibiotics.

But when I moved to London, I could not find any that lived up to my memory of the wonderfully satisfying Kefir I used to drink everyday. So after a long corporate, high-flying career, in early 2012, I finally set about creating my dream – my own cultured milk range – Bio-tiful Dairy.

I am a perfectionist as far as quality is concerned and came from a very different business sector. So I first undertook an extensive research of the ancient recipes and the current best production practices and methods. I drew on this vast knowledge base, including the existing large-scale production facilities for fermented milk drinks in Russia, as well as the specialists in cultured dairy products in the UK.

I did not rest until I found the perfect production bases and recreated the authentic, natural recipes. Using the very best of British milk and superior live cultures, I was able to produce the highest quality cultured milk drinks, both in terms of nutritional value and taste. They can be enjoyed at any time of the day!
